Bricks & Minifigs in Apple Valley is doing a shamrock build challenge from today through the 17th!

Here's how it works: Stop by the store, build a shamrock using pieces from their bulk LEGO tables, show it to the staff, and you're entered to win a $300 birthday party. (One drawing ticket per person)

The twist: Green LEGO pieces are sought after, making them harder to find in the bulk bins. You'll need to get creative with colors and design, but that's the whole point!

Participation is free, and there is no time limit. Parents, don't sit this one out, your build is good for a drawing entry too! Worst-case scenario, you build memories; best-case scenario, you win a birthday party!

Shamrocks will be displayed in the store after the event.

Lakeville Schools Referendum Recap

The superintendent hosted a community meeting on Feb. 24 to lay out the case for Lakeville's upcoming $139.6 million bond referendum. The pitch: all three middle schools, Century, Kenwood Trail, and McGuire, need more space, and they need it now.

A Copperfield Restaurant Is Coming to Rosemount

The Copperfield, the award-winning Mendota Heights diner and bar, is planning a Rosemount location next to Frandsen Bank & Trust.
