Lakeville Is Hitting Pause on New Housing for a Year

The mayor announced a 1-year moratorium on new residential proposals at the State of the City, partly to push back against the state legislature, partly because the city has grown from 45,000 to 78,000 people since 2002. Already-approved projects keep moving. New ones don't.
