Your Outdoor Season Ends Soon
Picklehall is 18 indoor courts in Apple Valley, climate controlled and open year round, with a food hall and an 80-tap self-pour wall on site. It opens late October, right about when the outdoor nets come down.
Founding members pay $1,000 a year and hold that rate for as long as they stay. 20 of the 50 are still open.
After that it's $1,295 a year for the same access.

This Dakota County Nonprofit Started With One Facebook Post About Snacks
When SNAP benefits got delayed, Taylor Durry asked neighbors to donate snacks for kids, and people just kept showing up.
That turned into Dakota County Mutual Aid, now an official nonprofit that helps families across the county with groceries, rent, utility bills and rides.
Want to help, or know someone who could use a hand?

Apple Valley City Council Votes to Raise Its Own Pay, but Splits It Over Two Years
By 2028, the Apple Valley mayor will make $24,000 a year and council members $18,000, a jump of about 44% and 51%. The full raise failed 3-2 before a phased version squeaked through by the same margin on September 24.
